Healing For Bipolar Depression

I have suffered from bipolar 1 disorder for the past 30 years.  For the past 18 years, I have suffered from the rare form of bipolar disorder known as ultradian rapid cycling disorder.  I have cycled into mild to severe depression culminating with strong suicidal ideations every 2 to 12 weeks for 2 to 6 weeks.  Because I have been unsuccessfully tried on 40 to 50 different medications for the depressive periods, I used to be under the assumption that depression was my "thorn in the flesh."  However, a part-time minister recently reminded me that Jesus was in the business of healing while He was here on earth, and that He is the same today as He was yesterday and forever.  Therefore, please join me in prayer that provided my depression is not God's will, that Jesus heal me of the depression once and for all.  I have attempted my life 8 times over the 18 years, 6 times over the past 2 years.  Indeed, God has performed miracles to save my life.

Holy God and loving Father, I consciously place my fears, worries, anxieties, and burdens in your hands. I know that I have so little power to change the outcome of these events and I trust that you will work what is pleasing to you, and best for me, out of these situations. Forgive me for my anxious thoughts and for letting my own worry become an idol that robs you of my full trust. Strengthen and empower me to trust you more by the power and presence of your Spirit. Thank You dear Lord that You have saved this dear brother's life several times and have proved Yourself to him that You are the God of all flesh and therefore, nothing is too hard for You (Jeremiah 32:27).  And we know that every trial and battle brings spiritual victories in our heart as shown in Romans 5:3-5, and therefore, we promise to give You all the glory and praise as we ask this in Your mighty Name, Jesus, amen.
