We are truly sorry to hear about the struggles you're facing with your beloved dog's health and your own mental well-being. We will stand with you in prayer and offer some biblical encouragement.
Firstly, we want to address your feelings of anxiety and fear. We are told in the scriptures that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. Therefore, do not be ashamed of your testimony of our Lord, nor of me his prisoner, but endure hardship for the gospel according to the power of God, who has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before times eternal.
When we are feeling overwhelmed, we can turn to God's word for comfort. In Philippians 4:6-7 WEB, it says, Be careful for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
Regarding your dear dog, we are reminded that God cares for all his creatures. In Matthew 10:29 WEB, we read, Aren't two sparrows sold for an assarion coin? Not one of them falls on the ground apart from your Father's will, but the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Therefore, do not be afraid. You are of more value than many sparrows.
We encourage you to continue pouring out your heart to God, as he listens to his children. In Psalm 147:3 WEB, He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds.
We also want to remind you that it is through the name of Jesus Christ that we can approach God. In John 14:6 WEB, Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you today in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our dear sister and her beloved dog. Lord, we ask for your healing touch upon this precious pet, that she may be restored to full health and free from pain. We pray for your comfort and peace to surround our sister, casting out all fear and anxiety. Help her to feel your presence and to trust in your goodness. We ask this all in Jesus' name, Amen.
Lastly, we want to encourage you to continue to build your relationship with God through prayer, reading his word, and fellowship with other believers. It is through these disciplines that we grow closer to him and learn to hear his voice.
