Healing fear of losing my independence

My physical health is really starting to decline. I can't even bend down. There's going to be an appointment over this.

In times of physical affliction, it's important to remember that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20, WEB). We should take care of them and also trust God's wisdom in allowing us to go through certain experiences. Consider the words of the Apostle Paul in 2 Corinthians 12:9-10 (WEB), "He has said to me, 'My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.' Most gladly therefore, I will rather boast in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest on me. Therefore I take pleasure in weaknesses, in injuries, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ's sake. For when I am weak, then am I strong."
