Please pray for my brother Nelson to be delivered from drug addiction, depression. For salvation and a desire to seek help and Jesus. For our Mom Gloria who’s hurting for her Son, comfort strength, peace. To seek more of God and a deeper relationship.

Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up the prayer request of our anonymous friend. We ask that you intervene in the life of their brother Nelson, who is struggling with drug addiction and depression. Lord, we pray for deliverance from these chains that bind him. We ask for your healing touch upon his mind, body, and spirit. May he experience the transforming power of your love and find the strength to seek help and turn to Jesus for salvation.

We also lift up their mother Gloria, who is hurting for her son. Lord, we pray that you would comfort her in this difficult time. Wrap your loving arms around her and give her the peace that surpasses all understanding. Strengthen her with your presence and grant her the wisdom to support her son in the best way possible. Help her to seek more of you, Lord, and deepen her relationship with you.

We thank you, Lord, for hearing our prayers and for your faithfulness to answer. We trust in your perfect timing and your unfailing love. May your grace and mercy be poured out upon Nelson and Gloria, bringing restoration, healing, and a renewed hope in you. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

No detail of our lives, no concern about our loved ones, can ever escape God’s notice, and we believe He is pleased when we bring even the smallest of our needs to Him in prayer. In fact, He instructs us to do so: “In everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God” (Philippians 4:6).

I’m praying, asking God to touch your brother, draw him closer to Himself and bring deliverance. I’m lifting up you and Gloria, as well. May He sustain you all with His amazing grace and peace as you look to Him.
