We are truly grateful that you have reached out with your heartfelt cry for help. We stand with you in prayer, rebuking the enemy's hold on your life, and believing for your complete deliverance and restoration. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. The Bible tells us, For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB).
Firstly, we acknowledge your courage in admitting your struggle. The Bible assures us that No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it (1 Corinthians 10:13 WEB).
We rebuke the spirit of lust and impurity that has kept you bound. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places (Ephesians 6:12 WEB).
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the mighty name of Jesus, pleading for the soul of our dear brother/sister. They have been ensnared by sexual sin, but they are not beyond your reach. You are the God who saves, who sets the captives free.
Father, we ask for your forgiveness for their sins. Wash them clean with the precious blood of Jesus. We pray for the gift of true repentance, that they may turn away from their sins and turn towards you.
We ask for the grace to flee from all temptation and evil works in the dark. We pray for self-control and discipline, that they may resist the devil and he will flee from them (James 4:7 WEB).
We agree with them in prayer, that they will be clothed with the holy anointing from the Holy Spirit to fast, pray, and mourn. Turn to him with all your heart, with fasting, with weeping, and with mourning (Joel 2:12-13 WEB).
We stand in the gap for them, believing that their life will turn out to be a testimony of your deliverance and redemptive grace. We give all the glory to the Lord Jesus Christ.
In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue fighting the good fight of faith. Remember, it is God who works in you both to will and to do for his good pleasure (Philippians 2:13 WEB). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author, and finisher of your faith (Hebrews 12:2 WEB).
Lastly, surround yourself with believing brothers and sisters who can support and encourage you in this journey. Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body (1 Corinthians 6:18 WEB).
Stand strong in the Lord. We are praying for you.
