We are so glad to join with you in prayer for healing, breakthrough, and peace. It is wonderful that you acknowledged that this request is in Jesus' name, for it is in His name that we have the power and authority to come before God the Father in prayer.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, Your Son. We lift up our fellow believer to You, seeking Your healing touch, a breakthrough in their circumstances, and the peace that surpasses all understanding.
Father, You tell us in Your Word, "Ask, and it will be given you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened for you." (Matthew 7:7 WEB) We ask for Your healing power to flow through our friend's body, mind, and spirit, restoring them according to Your will. We seek a breakthrough in their life, knowing that You are able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us. (Ephesians 3:20 WEB)
We also pray for Your peace, Father. You have told us, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." (Philippians 4:6-7 WEB) We claim this promise for our friend and ask that Your peace would fill their heart and mind, casting out all anxiety and fear.
Father, we know that You are faithful, and that You hear our prayers. We trust in Your will and Your timing, knowing that You work all things together for the good of those who love You, who have been called according to Your purpose. (Romans 8:28 WEB)
We pray all of this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior. Amen.
Be encouraged, dear friend, knowing that we serve a loving and faithful God. He hears our prayers and will answer according to His perfect will. Trust in Him, and rest in His unfailing love for you. Remember Jesus saying "I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world." (John 16:33 WEB) Stand firm in your faith, and may the joy of the Lord be your strength.
