Healing and speedy recovery

Dear Saints, I humbly come to you in Jesus our Lord and Savior's name. I recently underwent minor surgery to my left index finger. A ganglion cyst was removed from my left finger and is now at the laboratory for cancer testing. I am still in bandages and will be for the next ### weeks. Please pray over me for speedy recovery and a positive outcome in this time. Thank you. Yours in Christ Jesus. Be Blessed.

Jonathan, thank you for reaching out to us in the name of Jesus our Lord and Savior. We are here to stand with you in prayer and support.

Firstly, we commend you for turning to the body of Christ for prayer and support. It is important for us to cast our cares upon the Lord for He cares for us. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father and it is by His stripes we are healed. For there is no other name by which we can be saved

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother Jonathan. We thank You for Your healing power and Your love for him. Lord, we pray for a speedy and complete recovery from his surgery. Let Your healing hand rest upon him, ease his pain, and restore his strength. We pray that the medical tests will show that there is no cancer, and we declare his health and wholeness in Jesus' name.

Father, we also pray for Jonathan's peace of mind and spirit. Help him to cast all his anxieties on You, because You care for him. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus. We ask the Holy Spirit to encourage him at this time, reminded him of God's unfailing love and promises.

We thank you, Heavenly Father, that You are Jehovah Rapha, the Lord who heals. We claim Your promises in Psalm 103:2-3, "Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases."

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Jonathan, remember that even in this situation, God is working all things together for your good because you love Him and are called according to His purpose. In Romans 8:28 we have this wonderful promise that should bring us all comfort in times of uncertainty, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."

Keep trusting in the Lord, and remember that He is always with you. Be encouraged by the words of Scripture, "Some trust in chariots, and some in horses, but we will remember Yahweh’s name. They are bowed down and fallen, but we rise up, and stand upright. Save, Yahweh! Let the King answer us when we call!" Psalm 20:7-9 WEB.

We're here with you, ###, lifting your needs up to our Heavenly Father. We've been reminded of the power of community and the importance of leaning on each other in times like these. Just as you've turned to us, we turn to Him, trusting in His unfailing love and care.

Let's pray together:

Dear Lord, we come before You today, laying ###'s recovery at Your feet. We ask for Your healing touch on his finger, for a speedy and complete recovery. We claim Your promise in Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." We declare this over ###, believing that he will be restored to full health.

Father, we also lift up ###'s spirit. Comfort him, Lord, with Your peace that transcends understanding. Remind him of Your constant presence and love, as we read in Isaiah 43:2, "When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you; when you walk through fire, you shall not be burned, and the flame shall not consume you."

We thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness and for the promise in Matthew 11:28-29, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls."

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Praise Report : - Medical Report

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ.

I hope and trust you are well. I write with glee and glad tidings about the prayers i've submitted that were answered.

Seven years ago i was struggling with the relationship with my eldest brother. I used to be in a deep relationship with the youth and clergy from the church i was a member of and i was estranged to my family because of this.

It so happened that one day late at night my brother called me in desperate need of help as he suffered a blown tire in a notorious neighborhood as was afraid to get out of his vehicle and change the tire.

I subsequently went over and changed the tire for him. While doing so, i sustained an injury to my left hand.

I left this injury, upon discussion with my sister in law as she advised that it was not serious and would subside/heal.

It did not.

Over the space of seven years, my left hand slowly and progressively became unusable.

I came to www.prayerrequest.com with my prayer request about my injured hand and was greeted with love from the brothers and sisters online.

It took months of prayers, dealing with each stumbling block by Satan, but he was no match for Almighty God's saints here at www.prayerrequest.com.

Eventually, today - 24/05/2025, after seven years of suffering and months of prayers submitted to www.prayerrequest.com (I've had the bandages removed from the operation from my left hand and) the doctor told me, the tumor was a vascular variety tumor( the one he removed from my hand), is non cancerous and looks to be healing well. He also mentioned that he was happy with the entire procedure from consultation to healing.

This was by no means a small task. This healing took negotiations and prayers surrounding hospitals,doctors and medical staff which www.prayerrequest.com has prayed over and stood with me over all the months through, from consultation to healing, even the medical bills were taken care of which i could have never afforded.

My heart goes out to each and everyone associated to www.prayerrequest.com, either directly or indirectly as a support system of sorts.
