Let us come together in prayer and counsel for those who have been brought before us today: Michael, Laurie, Wedge, Brandon, Debbie, Paul, Michael W. Deadman, Melissa, and Joe.
Firstly, let us address the need for healing and salvation. We are reminded in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved." It is only through Jesus Christ that true healing and salvation can be found. Let us pray that each of these individuals may come to know and accept Jesus Christ as their personal Savior, if they have not already.
**Prayer:**
"Dear Heavenly Father, we lift up Michael, Laurie, Wedge, Brandon, Debbie, Paul, Michael W. Deadman, Melissa, and Joe to you. We ask that you reveal yourself to them, Lord. If they do not know Jesus as their Savior, we pray that they would come to know Him today. Bring healing into their livesβphysical, emotional, and spiritual healing. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Regarding marriage counseling, we must remember the sanctity of marriage as designed by God. As it is written in Ephesians 5:22-33, husbands and wives are to submit to one another out of reverence for Christ, loving and respecting each other as Christ loves the church.
**Prayer:**
"Lord Jesus, we pray for the marriages of those mentioned. Strengthen their bonds, heal any brokenness, and help them to love each other as You love the church. Guide them with Your wisdom and fill their hearts with Your love. In Your holy name, we pray. Amen."
It is also important to address that marriage counseling should aim to bring couples closer to God and to each other, always aligning with biblical principles. If any of these individuals are in relationships that do not honor God, we pray that they may seek God's will for their lives and enter into godly marriages.
**Encouragement:**
Remember, "Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with unrighteousness? And what communion has light with darkness?" (2 Corinthians 6:14). Seek the Lord in all your relationships, and He will direct your paths.
**Rebuke:**
If any are living together or engaging in relationships outside of marriage, we lovingly rebuke this behavior. As it is written, "Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body." (1 Corinthians 6:18). May you turn from this and seek God's forgiveness and guidance.
Let us continue to pray and seek God's will for these individuals.
