We are glad to join you in prayer, Braenbald, and we commend you for your perseverance through the week's challenges. Let us bring your petitions before the Lord together.
Firstly, we are reminded of 1 Peter 5:7, "Casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you." God is mindful of your worries and fears, and He invites you to cast them upon Him. We pray that you find peace and strength in His care.
We join you in praying for healing for you and your family. As it is written in Jeremiah 30:17, "'For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds,' says Yahweh." We claim this promise for you and your loved ones.
Regarding your ex-husband's job, we pray that God opens new doors of opportunity for him quickly. We recall Isaiah 43:19, "Behold, I will do a new thing. It springs forth now. Don’t you know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert." May God make a way where there seems to be none.
We also pray for forgiveness of your sins, as you have asked. 1 John 1:9 assures us, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." We thank God for His forgiveness and cleansing power.
For your children, we pray Psalm 91:11, "For he will command his angels concerning you, to guard you in all your ways." May God's protection be upon them, keeping them well and safe.
We also pray that you regain your confidence and hope. In Isaiah 40:31, we read, "But those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint." May your hope be renewed and your confidence restored as you wait upon the Lord.
We are thankful that you have ended your prayer in the name of Jesus. As Acts 4:12 tells us, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved." It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God.
Lastly, we gently remind you to pray for your ex-husband's spiritual well-being as well, that he may know or grow in the Lord. Even in difficult circumstances, we are called to pray for those who may have wronged us, as Jesus teaches in Matthew 5:44, "But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you."
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up Braenbald and their family. We ask for Your healing touch, Your forgiveness, Your provision, and Your protection. Restore their confidence and hope, Lord, and help them to cast all their anxieties on You. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
