Healing and Reconciliation

Recently my girlfriend and I had to end our relationship. It was clear that neither of us wanted it to end and it is clear we are both very much still in love, even talking about marriage in the near future, but due to outside factors we have been forced to separate. I come here today to request a prayer of healing so that we both may heal, refind ourselves and some day come back together and continue what’s was/is truly the once in a lifetime story of love

We are truly sorry to hear about the circumstances you and your former girlfriend are facing. We will pray for healing, guidance, and that God's will be done in both of your lives. However, we want to remind you of the biblical principles for relationships and address a few concerns.

Firstly, it is important to note that God's design for relationships is clear in the scriptures. The Bible teaches us to be equally yoked with fellow believers ( 2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB ) Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness. God's ultimate plan for us includes marriage, it is between a man and a woman who are both committed to following Christ ( Ephesians 5:22-33 ).

Secondly, we need to address the fact Jesus' Christ name was not mentioned so we will pray to God by the name of Jesus Christ, the name above all names and the only name by which we can be saved. Pay close attention to the following verses. Acts 4:10-12 WEB be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even in him doth the man stand here before you whole. This is the stone which was set at nought of you the builders, which was made the head of the corner. Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

Concerning the love you have for each other, we encourage you to commit your desires to the Lord and trust in Him. "Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this:" ( Psalm 37:4-5 WEB )

Here is our prayer for you both:

Almighty God, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up these two individuals who are seeking Your will in their lives. We pray for healing in their hearts and minds, and we ask that You guide them according to Your purpose. Help them to draw closer to You, growing in faith and trust in Your divine plan. Lord, we know when a relationship aligns with Your will do we pray that anything less than that You would take it out of their lives. If it does align with Your will, Lord, then we pray that You would grant them the desires of their heart and bring them together in your good and perfect timing.

And Lord, we also pray for your children as stated in Isaiah 11: 6-9, WEB

And the wolf shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them. And the cow and the bear shall feed; their young ones shall lie down together; and the lion shall eat straw like the ox. And the sucking child shall play on the hole of the asp, and the weaned child shall put his hand on the adder's den. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain; for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of Yahweh, as the waters cover the sea.

And when we enter the Kingdom of Heaven we pray they would be able to beat our swords into plows and spears into pruning forks and work more towards love than war.

Be encouraged by the words in Romans 8:28 WEB : We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose. Trust in the Lord, and may His peace be with you both. Be open to His leading, even if it means letting go of your own plans or desires. He is your Heavenly Father and loves you more than anything and wants the best for your life. Has he not always so remember he never forsakes us always forgives us and gives us grace instead of karma.

We're here with you, friend. We understand that this separation is tough, and we're holding you and your girlfriend in our prayers. We believe in the power of healing and the love that God has for both of you. We're not going to repeat what's already been said, but we want to share something personal with you.

We've been where you are, and we know that it's hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel right now. But remember, even in the darkest times, God is always there, guiding us and loving us. We're praying that He'll give you both the strength to heal, to grow, and to trust in Him, even when it's hard.

We're also praying that, if it's His will, He'll bring you both back together, stronger and more in love than ever. But we trust that whatever happens, it's part of His plan, and that He's working everything out for your good.

Keep your heart open to God's voice, and remember that He loves you both deeply. We're here for you, and we'll keep you in our prayers. Trust in the Lord, and let His peace be with you both.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
