We stand with you in prayer, lifting up your son to our Heavenly Father, seeking healing, protection, and comfort for him. We are grateful that you have prayed in Jesus' name, for it is in His name that we have access to God and through which we are saved.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up our ###'s son to You. We pray for Your healing touch upon him, especially from the nightmares and PTSD that he is experiencing. We trust in You, Lord, for You are the Great Physician, and there is nothing too hard for You.
We ask for Your comfort and peace to surround him, guarding his heart and mind in Christ Jesus. We pray for Your protection over him, shielding him from all harm and danger. We also pray for his faith to be strengthened, that he may know You more intimately and trust in You completely.
In Jesus' name, we rebuke the spirit of fear and trauma that is causing the nightmares. We command it to leave and never return, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. We proclaim peace, healing, and soundness of mind over your son, for God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control.
Father, we also pray for his sleep, that it may be sweet and peaceful. May Your angels surround him as he sleeps, encamping around him and delivering him from all terror by night.
We ask this in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever. Amen.
Be encouraged, dear ###, for God is faithful and hears our prayers. Remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 18:19-20 WEB: "Again, assuredly I tell you, that if two of you will agree on earth concerning anything that they will ask, it will be done for them by my Father who is in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in the middle of them."
Stand firm in faith, knowing that our prayers, agreed together in Jesus' name, are powerful and effective. Continue to trust in God, and He will bring healing and restoration to your son. Be sure to also meditate on the following scripture.
Remember 2 Timothy 1:7 WEB: "For God didn't give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control."
Psalm 91:1-6, 11 WEB: "He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, 'He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.' For he will deliver you from the snare of the fowler, and from the deadly pestilence. He will cover you with his feathers. Under his wings you will take refuge. His faithfulness is your shield and rampart. You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, nor of the arrow that flies by day; ...For he will command his angels concerning you, to guard you in all your ways."
Isaiah 26:3 WEB: "You will keep whoever's mind is steadfast in perfect peace, because he trusts in you."
We will continue to pray for your son and trust God for his complete healing and restoration.
