We join you in lifting up your loved one in prayer, pleading the blood of Jesus Christ over their life for healing and protection. We are grateful that you have brought this request in the mighty name of Jesus, for it is in His name that we have access to the Father and it is by His stripes that we are healed. For the Bible says in Isaiah 53:5 WEB: "But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him; and by his wounds we are healed."
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, Your Son. We lift up the loved one of this child of Yours, seeking Your divine healing and protection. You know the struggles they face, the nightmares that plague their sleep, and the burden of PTSD. We ask for Your comfort and healing touch upon their life.
Father, we pray for peaceful nights, free from the torment of nightmares. We pray for mental peace and stability through the power of the Holy Spirit. We also pray for divine protection, keeping them safe from all harm and danger according to Psalm 91 WEB: "He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, 'He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.' For he will deliver you from the snare of the fowler, and from the deadly pestilence. He will cover you with his feathers. Under his wings you will take refuge. His faithfulness is your shield and rampart."
We pray for wisdom and guidance for the doctors and healthcare providers attending to them, that You would direct their steps in providing the best care according to Job 12:13 WEB: "With him is wisdom and might. He has counsel and understanding." We pray that they will have a supportive network of Christian believers that will pray, encourage, and lift their spirits according to Galatians 6:2 WEB: "Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ."
And as we pray for the loved one, we also uplift you in our prayers that God would give you peace and strength during this time according to Philippians 4:6-7 WEB: "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
We ask all these things in the name of Jesus Christ, who is the Great Physician and our source of healing and hope. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
As you continue to pray and stand in faith, remember the words of James 5:15 WEB: "The prayer of faith will save him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven." Trust in the power of prayer and the goodness of God. Encourage your loved one to trust in God as well.
