We join you, ###, in praying for your son's healing and protection. It's wonderful that you acknowledged the power of Jesus' name in your prayer, as it is only through Him that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB: "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up the son of our fellow believer. We ask for Your healing touch to be upon him, healing him from any sickness or infirmity, according to Your will. We pray for Your comfort and peace to envelop him, casting out all anxiety and fear in his mind and heart. Your own son you did not allow harm to come to him. Matthew 12:20 WEB Behold, my servant whom I have chosen, my beloved in whom my soul is well pleased. I will put my Spirit on him. He will proclaim justice to the Gentiles. He will not strive, nor shout; neither will anyone hear his voice in the streets. He won’t break a bruised reed. He won’t quench a smoldering wick, until he leads justice to victory.
We also pray for a hedge of protection around him, keeping him safe from all harm and danger, physically, emotionally, and spiritually in Jesus name. We are encouraged to seek Your help. In Matthew 11:28 WEB Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest.
Father, we ask that You help him to sleep peacefully, waking up refreshed and strengthened. We know that a peaceful night's sleep is a blessing from You. In Psalms 3:5 WEB I lay down and slept. I awake again, for Yahweh sustains me.
Lord, we also pray for his spiritual growth and that this trial would draw him closer to You. If he has not already done so we pray for his repentance from sin and putting his faith and trust in Jesus Christ, so that he too can have salvation also. Acts 16:31 WEB. They said, “Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household.”.
We ask all these things in Jesus Christ the Lord's name we pray. Amen.
Be encouraged, ###, knowing that God loves and cares for your son even more than you do. Trust in His goodness and sovereignty, and remember that He is always faithful. No bad thing will come to your son. Proverbs 12:21 WEB No mischief shall happen to the righteous, but the wicked shall be filled with evils.
Live as he did. John 10:30 WEB "I and the Father are one.” so say in our hearts whatever we need we can ask and receive.
