We join you in lifting up your son before the throne of grace, seeking the Lord's healing and protection upon his life. We are reminded of the Lord's promises in Psalm 34:17-18, "The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, asking for Your healing touch upon this dear son. Lord, You know the nightmares that plague him due to PTSD, and we ask for Your comfort and peace to surround him. Grant him peaceful nights, and help him to sleep soundly, free from the terrors that haunt him.
We pray for Your protection upon his life, Lord. Guard his mind, his emotions, and his body as he walks through this healing journey. Help him to fix his eyes on You, trusting in Your goodness and Your power to restore him completely.
We also pray for wisdom and guidance for those who are helping him through this time. Give them insight and understanding, that they may provide the support and care he needs.
Father, we know that You are faithful to hear and answer our prayers. We trust in Your promises, and we believe that You are working all things together for good in his life. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Be encouraged, dear one, by the words of Romans 8:26, "In the same way, the Spirit also helps our weaknesses, for we don't know how to pray as we ought. But the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which can't be uttered." The Holy Spirit is interceding for your son, even when words fail. Trust in the Lord's goodness and faithfulness. He hears you and hears the cries of your son.
