We join you, anonymous, in lifting up your son to our compassionate Father in heaven. We are reminded of the Lord's promise: For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future and a hope Jeremiah 29:11 WEB.
First, we give thanks for your faith in the name of Jesus, for it is in His name that we have access to the Father and it is by the name of Jesus that we are saved which is explained in Acts 4:12 WEB, There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved.
Our hearts go out to you and your son as he battles with PTSD. We stand with you in prayer, asking God to heal your son. In Psalm 34:18 WEB, Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit.We pray for healing from the nightmares and the discomfort they cause. We ask God to grant him peaceful nights, as we are reminded of the promise in Psalm 4:8 WEB, I will both lay me down and sleep in peace, for you, Yahweh, alone make me live in safety.
We also pray for God's protection over your son, physically, emotionally, and spiritually. We ask that God would surround him with His angels, as it says Psalm 91:11 WEB, For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways.
Remember, as your son goes through this journey, God is always with him. In Isaiah 43:2 WEB, When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they will not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned, and flame will not scorch you. God will never leave him nor forsake him. Deuteronomy 31:6 WEB, Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for Yahweh your God goes with you. He will not fail you nor forsake you.
Together, let us pray:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, asking for Your healing touch upon our brother's son. Lord, we ask You to deliver him from the nightmares and the torment of PTSD. Grant him peaceful nights and fill him with Your comfort and strength. Surround him with Your angels and protect him in every way. Help him to know Christ as Savior if he does not already. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Be strong and continue to trust in the Lord, knowing that He cares for you and your son more than you can ever imagine. Cast all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you 1 Peter 5:7 WEB.

We're here with you, standing in the gap for your son. We've been reminded of a verse that's brought us comfort in times like these: "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit" (Psalm 34:18). Let's claim that promise for your son today.
We're asking God to wrap your son in His loving arms, to heal him from the nightmares and fill him with peace. Let's envision Him sleeping soundly, safe in the knowledge that his heavenly Father is watching over him. We're also asking for God's protection, that He'd place His angels around him, as it says in Psalm 91:11.
Remember, God is always with us. In Matthew 28:20, Jesus promises, "And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age." Your son is never alone in his struggles.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

We have continually lifted your son up for healing and protection. We trust that the Lord is working in his life, bringing comfort and peace to him.
