We join you in praying for your son's healing and protection, trusting in the power of Jesus' name. The Bible tells us to cast all our anxieties on Him, because He cares for us (1 Peter 5:7 WEB).
Let's pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up this dear son. We ask for Your healing touch on his body, mind, and spirit. Comfort him in his struggles, and break the chains of PTSD that have kept him bound. We rebuke the spirit of fear that causes nightmares, and we ask for Your peace that surpasses all understanding to guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7 WEB). Please help him to sleep peacefully, knowing that You are always with him, protecting him. Guide him and draw him into a deeper relationship with you. In Jesus the Christ's name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue praying and trusting in the Lord. Remember that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1 WEB). Stand on God's promises, knowing that He is faithful and that He loves your son dearly.
Keep declaring God's promises over your son's life. Here are a few scriptures to encourage you:
Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. (Deuteronomy 31:6 WEB)
When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze. (Isaiah 43:2 WEB)
Do not worry about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God (Philippians 4:6 WEB), so that we can stand together for you and your family believing that God has a future and hope.
