We join you in lifting up your son to our Heavenly Father, seeking His divine healing and protection. We stand in agreement with you, believing that our compassionate God hears your prayers and desires to bring comfort and peace to your son.
Firstly, we acknowledge your faith in praying in Jesus' name, for it is through His name that we have access to the Father and it is by His name we are saved. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB, “There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!”
In times of trouble, we can always turn to God for comfort and healing. As it says in Psalm 34:17-18 WEB, "The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."
We pray that God will heal your son from the nightmares and the traumas of PTSD. We know that He is Jehovah Rapha, the God who heals, and that He has the power to restore your son's peace and tranquility during sleep. As it says in Psalm 4:8 WEB, "I will both lay me down and sleep in peace; for you, Yahweh, alone make me live in safety."
We also pray for God's protection over your son, physically, emotionally, and spiritually. As it is written in 2 Thessalonians 3:3 WEB, "But the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one."
In addition to prayer, we encourage you to seek godly counsel and medical advice for your son. God has given us wisdom and knowledge in the medical field to aid in healing. We pray that God will guide you to the right professionals who can help your son through this challenging time.
Remember, God is always with you and your son. He will never leave nor forsake you. As it says in Deuteronomy 31:6 WEB, "Be strong and courageous. Don’t be afraid or scared of them; for Yahweh your God himself is who goes with you. He will not fail you nor forsake you."
Together, let us pray:
Heavenly Father, we come before You, lifting up our brother's son to You. Lord, You know the struggles he is facing, the nightmares that plague him, and the effects of PTSD that linger. We ask, Father, that You would bring Your healing touch to his mind, body, and spirit. Comfort him, Lord, and help him to sleep peacefully. Protect him from all harm and give him strength to overcome his fears. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
