We stand with you in prayer for your son, pleading the blood of Jesus over his life for healing and protection. We are grateful that you have brought this request in the mighty name of Jesus, for it is in His name that we have access to the Father and it is by His stripes that we are healed.
Let us remember the words of the Psalmist, O Lord my God, I cried to you, and you have healed me, (WEB Psalms 30:2).
Let us pray together.
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up this beloved son to You. Lord, You know the trauma that he has experienced and the nightmares that plague his nights. We stand on Your promise that if we call to you in trouble, you will deliver us, and we will honor you (WEB Psalms 50:15).
Father, we ask for Your healing touch on his mind and body. Cast out the spirit of fear and trauma, and grant him the peace that passes all understanding. We pray that the nightmares cease and that he would sleep soundly, knowing that You are his protector and his shield. Surround him with Your angels and let no weapon formed against him prosper.
In the name of Jesus, we rebuke the enemy and his attempts to torment this child of God. The enemy has no power over him, for greater is He that is in him, than he that is in the world (WEB John 4:4).
Father, comfort him in his struggles, and help him to look to You as his fortress and his deliverer; my God, my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower (WEB Psalms 18:2).
We ask, Father for complete freedom from PTSD symptoms, and that You would use this trial to draw him closer to You. Help him feel your love and sound mind.
We thank You, Father, for Your faithfulness and Your promise to never leave us nor forsake us. We stand on Your word that says, Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me? (WEB Jeremiah 32:27).
In Jesus' name, we pray for healing, protection, and peace. Amen.
Together, let us encourage one another with these words: Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight (WEB Proverbs 3:5-6). Keep trusting, keep believing, and keep praying, for with God, all things are possible.
