We join you in lifting up your son to our Heavenly Father, pleading the blood of Jesus Christ over his life for healing and protection. We stand with you in the gap, praying for comfort and peace to surround him.

Let us remember God's promise in Psalm 34:17-18 WEB: "The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." Our God is close to your son, hearing his cries, and working to deliver him from his troubles.

We also know from Psalm 4:8 WEB: "I will both lay me down and sleep in peace; for you, Yahweh, alone make me live in safety." We claim this promise for your son, asking God to grant him peaceful nights, free from nightmares, and fill his days with His holy presence.

As we pray, let us remind your son of God's unfailing love and faithfulness. Encourage him to trust in the Lord with all his heart, and lean not on his own understanding. In all his ways, he should acknowledge Him, and He will make his paths straight (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB).

Together, let us continue to intercede for your son, believing that our prayers, aligned with God's will, are powerful and effective (James 5:16 WEB). We trust that our compassionate Father will bring healing, protection, and comfort to your son, in Jesus' name.

Heavenly Father, we come before you with a humble heart. Please forgive us for any sins. Please reveal any sins to us. We ask the Holy Spirit to convict us of any sin. Please help us to confess and repent of any sin. We know that with any sin that is not repented of, there is no guarantee that our prayers will be answered. We also know that we must be obedient and walking close to you to have confidence that our prayers will be answered. We are not perfect, but we strive to be closer to you. We must also be careful to keep ourselves separate from sin and the world.

Father, we pray for healing of the painful memories and experiences that he is dealing with. Please comfort him. Please help him sleep without the nightmares from PTSD. We pray for complete healing, in Jesus' name.
