We join you in lifting up your son before the throne of God, seeking His healing and protection. We stand on the promise in Matthew 18:19 WEB, "Again, assuredly I tell you, that if two of you will agree on earth concerning anything that they will ask, it will be done for them by my Father who is in heaven."
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your healing and protection for our beloved brother in Christ. Lord, You know the struggles he faces, the nightmares that plague him due to PTSD. We ask for Your comfort and peace to surround him, to guard his heart and his mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7 WEB).
Father, we pray for Your healing touch upon his life. We know that You are the Great Physician, and there is no burden too heavy for You to bear, no wound too deep for You to heal. We claim Your promise in Psalm 147:3 WEB, "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds."
We also pray for Your protection over him, Lord. We ask that You would surround him with Your angels, that You would keep him safe from all harm and danger. We claim Your promise in Psalm 91:11 WEB, "For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways."
Father, we ask that You would help him to sleep peacefully, that You would drive away the nightmares that torment him. We claim Your promise in Psalm 4:8 WEB, "I will both lay me down and sleep in peace; for you, Lord, alone make me live in safety."
Lord, we thank You for Your faithfulness, for Your unfailing love and compassion. We trust in Your promise that You work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28 WEB).
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue praying fervently for your son, to trust in God's unfailing love and faithfulness. Remember the words of James 5:16 WEB, "...The effective prayer of a righteous man can accomplish much."
Stand strong in your faith, knowing that our God is a God of miracles, a God of healing and restoration. Trust in Him, and He will never fail you.
If your son has not done so, he should believe in the Lord Jesus Christ. Acts 4:12 WEB Neither is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved.
