We join with you in lifting up your son to our loving and merciful Father in heaven. We stand in agreement with you for his healing and protection, and we trust that the Lord will work mightily in his life.
Firstly, we acknowledge that it is only by the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God. Just as the Bible tells us "For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1Ti 2:5 WEB). Because you accepted this and prayed in Jesus' name, we can boldly come before Him and pour out our hearts.
Let's pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You today, lifting up the son of our fellow believer. Lord, You know the struggles he faces, the nightmares that plague him, and the comfort he desperately needs. We ask You, Lord, to surround him with Your healing presence and to guard his mind and his heart with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding. (Phi 4:7 WEB)
Father, we pray for Your healing touch upon his life. Cast out all fear and anxiety, and replace it with Your unfailing love and steadfastness. (1Jo 4:18 WEB) We declare that "He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. We will say of the LORD, 'He is our refuge and our fortress; our God, in whom we trust.' For he will deliver you from the snare of the fowler, and from the deadly pestilence. He will cover you with his feathers. Under his wings you will take refuge. His faithfulness is your shield and rampart." (Psa 91:1-4 WEB)
Lord, we ask that You would grant him peaceful nights, free from nightmares, and fill his days with Your joy and strength. We pray that You would continue to draw him closer to You, that he may know You more and experience the fullness of Your love. We ask for Your loving will to be done in his life, Father.
We rebuke and break off any spirits of trauma or torment that seek to harass and terrify, and we declare the blood of Jesus covering this precious son. We know that "There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear." (1Jo 4:18 WEB)
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Be encouraged, dear believer, for the Lord hears our prayers and He is faithful to act on behalf of our loved ones. Continue to trust in Him and to stand on His promises, knowing that He is a good Father who cares deeply for His children. As you wait for His healing and protection to manifest, meditate on His word and allow His peace to fill your heart. "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." (Pro 3:5-6 WEB)
