We join with you in lifting up your son before the throne of grace, seeking healing and protection for him.
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, pleading for Your healing touch upon this son. Lord, You are Jehovah-Rapha, the God who heals, and You have the power to restore and make whole. We ask that You extend Your healing hand upon him, and bring comfort to his mind, body, and spirit.
Father, we specifically ask for Your intervention regarding the nightmares he has been having due to PTSD. We pray that You would break the chains of trauma and fear, and grant him peaceful sleep. May Your supernatural peace guard his heart and his mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
In accordance with Your Word, we know that it is only by the stripes of Jesus that he is healed (Isaiah 53:5). We declare that no weapon formed against him shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against him in judgment is condemned (Isaiah 54:17). We plead the blood of Jesus over his life, and we rebuke any spirit of fear, torment, or trauma that is afflicting him.
Father, surround him with Your favor as with a shield (Psalm 5:12). Let Your angels encamp around him and deliver him from every evil work (Psalm 34:7, 2 Timothy 4:18). May Your presence go with him, and may Your love never leave him nor forsake him (Deuteronomy 31:6).
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen
Be encouraged, dear one, knowing that the effective, fervent prayer of the righteous avails much (James 5:16). Keep praying and believing, for with God, all things are possible (Matthew 19:26). Remember that God is faithful, and He will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation, He will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it (1 Corinthians 10:13).
Stand strong in the faith, and let the peace of God rule in your hearts (Colossians 3:15). We are here with you, agreeing in prayer and believing God for a miracle in your son's life.
