We join with you, dear friend, in lifting up your son to our compassionate and merciful Father in heaven. We are reminded of the Lord's promise: "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest" (Matthew 11:28 WEB).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your divine healing and protection for this dear son. You know the depths of his struggles, the echoes of trauma that haunt his dreams. We ask, Lord, that You would comfort him, that You would guard his heart and his mind with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7 WEB).
Father, we pray for Your healing touch upon his life. Cast out the spirit of fear and trauma, and grant him the spirit of peace and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7 WEB). We declare that no weapon formed against him shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against him in judgment shall be condemned (Isaiah 54:17 WEB).
We ask that You would grant him peaceful sleep, that his nights be free from nightmares, and his days be filled with Your love and joy. Surround him with Your angels, protecting and guiding him in all his ways (Psalm 91:11 WEB).
In the name of Jesus Christ, we pray for his deliverance from PTSD, for it is written that "by his stripes, we are healed" (Isaiah 53:5 WEB). We believe that the same power that raised Christ from the dead is at work in him, granting him victory over this affliction (Romans 8:11 WEB).
Father, we also pray for his spiritual growth, that he may know the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge, that he may be filled with all the fullness of God (Ephesians 3:19 WEB). Strengthen his faith, Lord, and help him to trust in You with all his heart (Proverbs 3:5 WEB).
In Jesus' name, we pray for his complete healing, protection, and comfort. Amen.
We encourage you to continue praying fervently for your son, trusting in the Lord's promise: "Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you" (Matthew 7:7 WEB). Keep your faith strong, for the effective, fervent prayer of a righteous person avails much (James 5:16 WEB).
Lastly, we remind you of the power of declaring God's promises over your son's life. The Word of God is alive and active, sharper than any two-edged sword (Hebrews 4:12 WEB). Speak the Word, believe the Word, and watch the Lord work in your son's life.
