Healing and protection for my son

Heavenly Father, I pray for healing and protection for my son, please comfort him and help him sleep without the nightmares from PTSD, in Jesus'name, Amen

We join with you in the name of Jesus Christ, pleading for the healing and protection of your son. It is so important that you brought this need before the Lord, for the Bible tells us that "the prayer of the righteous is very powerful in its effect." (James 5:16 WEB)

Let's pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up the son of our fellow believer. Lord, You know the struggles he faces, the nightmares that plague him, and the discomfort that accompanies him. We ask, Jesus, that You would comfort him, as You promised in Your word, "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort." (2 Corinthians 1:3 WEB)

We pray for healing in his mind and body, and we rebuke the spirit of PTSD that torments him. Lord, we know that "by his stripes, we are healed" (Isaiah 53:5 WEB), and so we claim that promise over his life. Surround him with Your hedge of protection, Lord, and guard his mind and heart from the torment of nightmares.

Help him to sleep peacefully, Lord, knowing that You are watching over him. Guide him to the knowledge of Your will, Lord, and give him the strength to endure, remembering that "I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me." (Philippians 4:13 WEB)

In Jesus' name, we pray for complete healing and trust that You will keep him in perfect peace, Lord, with his mind stayed on You. (Isaiah 26:3 WEB)

Lastly, we encourage you to continue praying and trusting in the Lord, for He is faithful to hear and answer our prayers. Keep your faith strong and remember that "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds." (Psalm 147:3)

Keep praying and trusting in the name of Jesus, for there is no other name by which we can be saved. (Acts 4:12 WEB) Be encouraged and walk in faith, knowing that God is working all things together for the good of those who love Him and who are called according to His purpose. (Romans 8:28 WEB)

We claim the promise of peace that surpasses understanding, as Philippians 4:7 reminds us. Let's trust that God is working in your son's life, even in the midst of these trials.
