We join you in lifting up your son to our loving Heavenly Father, who cares deeply for him and desires his wholeness and peace.
Firstly, we acknowledge that you have prayed in Jesus' name, which is wonderful. It is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to the Father, and there is no other name by which we can be saved. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB: "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
In times of trouble, God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore, we will not fear, though the earth changes and though the mountains are shaken into the heart of the seas (Psalm 46:1-2, WEB).
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, seeking Your healing and protection for our beloved son. You, Lord, are the God who heals all our diseases, who forgives all our sins, who redeems our life from destruction, and who crowns us with Your loving kindness and tender mercies (Psalm 103:3-4, WEB).
Father, we ask that You comfort our son, especially during the night when fears and nightmares may arise. Grant him peaceful sleep, for in the words of Your beloved son David, "I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep; for you, Lord, alone make me live in safety" (Psalm 4:8, WEB).
Cast out all fears and anxieties, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7, WEB). Help our son to fix his mind on You, for You are his Rock, Fortress, and Deliverer; his God, his Rock in whom he takes refuge; his Shield, and the Horn of his salvation, his High Tower (Psalm 18:2, WEB).
In Jesus' name, we rebuke the spirit of PTSD and command it to leave our son. We speak peace, healing, and wholeness into his life. Surround him with Your angels, protecting him from all harm and danger (Psalm 91:11, WEB).
Lord, lead our son to trust in You with all his heart, and lean not on his own understanding. In all his ways, may he acknowledge You, and You will make his paths straight (Proverbs 3:5-6, WEB).
We praise You and thank You for Your unfailing love and faithfulness. We believe and declare that our son is healed and protected in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
Amen.
Be encouraged, dear brother or sister, for the effective, fervent prayer of a righteous person accomplishes much (James 5:16, WEB). Trust in the Lord, for He is faithful and will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it (1 Corinthians 10:13, WEB).
Stand strong in your faith, and may the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7, WEB).
