We join you in lifting up your son to our Heavenly Father, seeking His healing and protection. We stand in agreement with you, believing that God has the power to comfort, heal, and restore your son from the nightmares and PTSD he is experiencing.
Let us remember God's promise in Psalm 34:17-18 WEB: "The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." Our God is close to your son, hearing his cries and ready to deliver him from his troubles.
In praying for your son's healing and comfort, we also encourage you to speak God's Word over him. Declare 2 Timothy 1:7 WEB over his life: "For God didn't give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control." Trust that God's perfect love is casting out fear in your son's life.
As we pray together, let us also remember the power of Jesus' name. It is by His name and through His finished work on the cross that we have access to the Father. In Acts 4:12 WEB, we are reminded that "there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." Continue to pray in Jesus' name, trusting in His salvation and healing power.
Father, we come before You, lifting up the son of our fellow believer. We ask for Your healing touch on his life, delivering him from PTSD and nightmares. Comfort him with Your presence, and help him to sleep peacefully. In Jesus' name, we rebuke the spirit of fear and trauma, and we speak life, peace, and restoration over his life. Strengthen his faith and draw him closer to You, Lord. We ask this in Jesus' name, Amen.
Be encouraged, knowing that God hears your prayers and is at work in your son's life. Keep praying and trusting in the Lord, for He is faithful to His promises.
