We join you in lifting up your son to our compassionate Father in heaven, who cares deeply for each of us. We are reminded of the scripture that says, Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus, Philippians 4:6-7.
Your son's healing and protection are of utmost importance to us, and we stand with you in prayer. We pray that our almighty God will comfort your son and deliver him from the nightmares and PTSD that have been plaguing him. We declare that the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard his heart and his mind in Christ Jesus, Philippians 4:6-7.
We also pray that God will heal your son completely from the traumas he has experienced, for He is the Great Physician and there is no burden too heavy for Him to bear. We claim the promise that says, Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light, Matthew 11:28-30.
Remember, it is in the name of Jesus that we have access to the Father, and there is power in the name of Jesus. And in none other is there salvation, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, in whom we must be saved, Acts 4:12. Continue to call upon His name and trust in His unfailing love.
Together, let us pray:
Heavenly Father, we come before You today, lifting up the son of our beloved brother/sister to You. We ask that You extend Your healing hand upon him and deliver him from the nightmares and PTSD that he is experiencing. Comfort him with Your unfailing love and envelop him in Your peace, according to Philippians 4:6-7. We claim Your promise of rest and burden-lifting in Matthew 11:28-30. We declare that the blood of Jesus Christ is a hedge of protection over him. Bless him with sound sleep and a mind free from trauma. Be his shield and his fortress, Psalm 91:1-4. Help him not to fear the terror of night, nor the arrow that flies by day, Psalm 91:5. In Jesus' name, we believe and pray, Amen.
Be encouraged, dear brother/sister, for the effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man accomplishes much, James 5:16. Trust that God is at work in your son's life, and remain steadfast in your faith.
