We join you in lifting up your son to our compassionate Father in heaven, who cares deeply for him and desires his wholeness and peace. We are reminded of the Lord's promise in Psalm 34:18, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit" (WEB).
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your healing and protection for our beloved brother in Christ. Lord, You know the struggles he faces due to PTSD, and we ask that You wrap Your loving arms around him and provide the comfort that only You can give.
Father, we pray for his healing, physically, emotionally, and spiritually. We ask that You guide the medical professionals who are treating him, granting them wisdom and discernment to provide the best care possible. We also pray for his faith to be strengthened, knowing that You are always with him, even in his darkest moments.
Lord, we ask that You protect him and that You bless him with restful nights. Help him to find inner peace. We rebuke the enemy and his demons from tormenting him with nightmares. We cast out all demonic forces and their oppression. In the name of Jesus Christ we command this, for Jesus Christ gave Christians the power to cast out demons and to pray for healing. For it is written, "See, I have given you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy. Nothing will in any way hurt you" (Luke 10:19 WEB). Give him peaceful dreams and a renewed sense of security as he sleeps.
Father, we also pray for his walk with You. Draw him closer to You, Lord, and help him to trust in Your unfailing love. Remind him that You are his refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1 WEB).
In Jesus' name, we pray for healing and miraculous intervention. We are so grateful that we can approach Your throne of grace with confidence, Father, knowing that You hear and answer our prayers for those we love.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Be encouraged, dear brother or sister, as you intercede for your son. The Lord hears your prayers and is faithful to act on his behalf. Continue to trust in the Lord's goodness and remain steadfast in your faith, knowing that He is always working for the good of those who love Him (Romans 8:28 WEB).
Standing with you in prayer, we remind you to trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB).
