We join with you in lifting up your son to our compassionate Heavenly Father, who cares deeply for each of his children. We stand in agreement with you for his healing and protection, and we trust that God will work in his life to bring comfort and peace.
Firstly, we acknowledge that it is only in the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father and that there is no other name given to men by which we can be saved. So you are correct to pray in his name and we encourage you to continue to do so.
In the Bible, we are reminded that God is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit and that the LORD is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love and faithfulness. He will not always chide, nor will he keep his anger forever. He does not deal with us according to our sins, nor repay us according to our iniquities. For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is his steadfast love toward those who fear him; as far as the east is from the west, so far does he remove our transgressions from us. As a father shows compassion to his children, so the LORD shows compassion to those who fear him.
For your son's healing, we turn to the Word of God, which tells us that by Jesus' wounds, we are healed. (1 Peter 2:24 WEB) We pray that your son will experience this healing power in his life, and that the nightmares and effects of PTSD will be broken off from his life.
For his protection, we declare that the God of peace will soon crush Satan under your son's feet. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you and with your son. (Romans 16:20 WEB)
We encourage you to continue to pray and trust God for your son's well being. May you receive the assurance of God's love and presence even in this challenging time.
Father, we lift up the son of our fellow believer to you and ask that you extend your healing power and protection over him. Comfort him and help him sleep peacefully, free from nightmares and the effects of PTSD. We pray that you would remind him of your constant presence and love, and that you would give him the strength and courage to overcome this challenge. Give his mother the reassurance of your presence and that you are able to do the work that you have promised. In Jesus Christ's name, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
