We join with you in lifting up your son to our loving and gracious Father in heaven. We are reminded of the Lord's promise in Psalm 34:18, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today in Jesus' name to lift up the son of our fellow believer. Lord, You know the pain and suffering that he has been through, and the nightmares that plague him now. We ask for Your healing touch upon his life, both physically and emotionally. Comfort him with Your presence, and grant him peaceful nights, free from nightmares and fear.
Father, we also pray for Your protection over him, shielding him from all harm and danger. Guide him in the path of righteousness, and help him to live a life that honors You.
Lord, we know that You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7). Help him to overcome the trauma of his past and to live victoriously in Your love.
In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue praying fervently for your son, trusting in the Lord's promise in Matthew 21:22, "All things, whatever you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive."
Remember also the words of James 5:16, "The effective, earnest prayer of a righteous man is powerfully effective." Keep praying, keep believing, and trust in the Lord's unfailing love and faithfulness.
We are also reminded to put on the full armor of God in Ephesians 6:11, "Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil."
Stay steadfast in prayer and in the faith. We are standing with you in Jesus' name.
