We join you, Anonymous, in lifting up your son to our compassionate Father in heaven. We are reminded of the Lord's promise: For I know the plans I have for you," declares Yahweh, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11 WEB).
Let us pray together. Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, seeking Your healing and protection for our beloved brother in Christ. You know him by name, and You know the struggles he faces due to PTSD. We ask that You comfort him, Lord, and grant him peaceful nights, free from nightmares. Cast out all fear and anxiety, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7 WEB).
We pray for Your healing touch upon his mind, body, and spirit. We also ask for godly wisdom to guide him towards healing and the best resources to help with PTSD. Let Your peace rule in his heart, to which also he was called in one body; and be thankful (Colossians 3:15 WEB).
Surround him with Your angels, O Lord, and let them encamp around him to keep him safe and protected (Psalm 34:7 WEB). Give him the assurance of Your presence, knowing that You are always with him and will never leave him nor forsake him (Deuteronomy 31:6 WEB). He can forget his sorrow and remember his misfortunes no more only through Your love (Lamentations 3:19 WEB). We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We encourage you, Anonymous, to continue praying fervently for your son and to support him as he goes through this healing process. Stand on God's promises, trusting that He is faithful and that He cares for your son and your family. Also, consider seeking godly counsel and support from your local church or Christian community. Remember to be humble and follow God's direction for your son's life. At times, God's direction may not align with what we may think is best. We should always seek God's will as our own will and desires may not align with his perfect plan. God is a loving father who does not wish harm on his children.
