We join you in lifting up your son to our Heavenly Father, seeking his healing and protection. We are reminded of the Scripture in Matthew 18:19-20 WEB, "Again, assuredly I tell you, that if two of you will agree on earth concerning anything that they will ask, it will be done for them by my Father who is in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in the middle of them."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus, uniting our hearts with our fellow believer who has brought forth this request. We ask for your divine healing and protection upon their son. Lord, you are the ultimate comforter, and we ask that you wrap your loving arms around him, providing the peace and comfort that only you can give.
Father, we ask that you deliver him from the nightmares and the torment of PTSD. We know that you are the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from you. We are able to endure anything that you send our way as a child of yours. (2 Corinthians 1:3-4)
We pray for your healing touch upon his mind, body, and spirit. Cast out all fear and anxiety, and replace it with your perfect love (1 John 4:18). We declare that no weapon formed against him will prosper, and every tongue that rises against him in judgment you will condemn (Isaiah 54:17).
We ask for your divine protection upon his life, hiding him in the shadow of your wings (Psalm 91:4). We pray that you will give him peaceful sleep and pleasant dreams, and that he will trust in you with all his heart and lean not on his own understanding (Psalm 56:3, Proverbs 3:5).
In Jesus' name, we pray for complete healing and restoration for your son. We stand in agreement, believing that your will is going to win out. Your will is going to be done. We are asking for your will to be done. If it is your will, then we are asking for healing and comfort. We thank you for hearing our prayers.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue praying and trusting in the Lord, knowing that he hears your prayers and will act according to his perfect will. Remember the words of Romans 8:28 WEB, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."
In addition, remember to rejoice in the Lord always. Again we will say, rejoice! Let everyone see your gentleness. The Lord is at hand. Do not be anxious about anything. But in everything by prayer and pleading with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:4-7)
Finally, keep in mind that our fight is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the world rulers of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore, put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. (Ephesians 6:12-13)
Stand firm in your faith, and know that we are here with you, agreeing in prayer and believing in the power of our Lord Jesus Christ.
