We join you, Anonymous, in lifting up your son to our compassionate and merciful Father in heaven. We are reminded of the Lord's promise: "For I know the plans I have for you,' declares the Lord, 'plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Jeremiah 29:11 (WEB). It is only in the name of Jesus that we have access to God.
In times of distress, we can always turn to God, knowing that He cares for us and that He sent His Son to save us. "But God commends his own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." Romans 5:8 (WEB).
We pray for your son's healing, physically, emotionally, and spiritually. "But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was on him, and by his stripes, we are healed." Isaiah 53:5
We also pray for God's protection over your son, especially as he sleeps. We rebuke the spirit of fear that brings about these nightmares. We remember our assurance from the Lord, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:6-7 (WEB).
"When you lie down, you will not be afraid: yes, you will lie down, and your sleep will be sweet." Proverbs 3:24 (WEB).
We encourage you to continue praying and trusting in the Lord. The Word of God tells us, "Don't be anxious about anything; but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God." Philippians 4:6 (WEB). Remember that the Lord is the one who saves us and in whom we must place our trust. "You shall call to me, and you shall go and pray to me, and I will listen to you." Jeremiah 29:12 (WEB).
Together we pray:

We ask for Your protection over his mind and his sleep, and we rebuke any spirit of fear or torment that may be causing nightmares. We stand in agreement with Anonymous, claiming Your promises of healing and protection. Thank You, Father, for Your unfailing love and faithfulness. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
