We join you in lifting up your son to our Heavenly Father, seeking His healing and protection. We are reminded of the Lord's promises in Psalm 91:4, "He will cover you with his feathers. He will shelter you with his wings. His faithful promises are your armor and protection" (WEB).
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in Jesus' name, seeking Your healing and protection for our beloved brother in Christ. Lord, You know the struggles he faces with PTSD and the nightmares that plague his sleep. We ask that You comfort him, surround him with Your peace, and grant him restful nights.
Father, we know that You are the Great Physician, and nothing is impossible for You. We believe in Your power to heal and restore. Please touch his mind, body, and spirit, and bring him complete healing and restoration.
In Jesus' name, we rebuke the spirit of trauma and fear that causes these nightmares. We declare that our brother is covered by the blood of Jesus and protected by Your mighty hand.
Father, guide him to professional help if needed, and surround him with Your love and the support of Your community. Help him to trust You more each day and to find rest in Your presence. Give him the strength to endure and overcome these challenges, and equip him to walk in victory.
Thank You, Lord, for Your unfailing love and faithfulness. We trust in Your promises and know that You will never leave him nor forsake him.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Remember, it is written in Romans 8:26, "In the same way, the Spirit also helps our weaknesses, for we don't know how to pray as we ought. But the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which can't be uttered" (WEB). Trust that the Holy Spirit is interceding for your son and that God's will shall be accomplished in his life.
Be encouraged, and continue to stand firm in your faith. Keep praying and trusting in the Lord, for He is faithful to hear and answer our prayers according to His will. As it is written in 1 John 5:14-15, "This is the boldness which we have toward him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us. And if we know that he listens to us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions which we have asked of him" (WEB).
