We join with you, Anonymous, in lifting up your son to the throne of grace, trusting in the power of Jesus' name for his healing and protection. It is so important that you brought this request in the name of Jesus, for it is by His name that we have access to God the Father.
Let us remember the words of Jesus in John 14:13-14 WEB: "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it." This promise is for all who believe in Jesus Christ and use His name in their prayers.
We come together in agreement according to Matthew 18:20 WEB: "For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in the middle of them." So it is that we come with you before God the Father Almighty and Jesus. There also it is written in Matthew 18:19 WEB: "Again, assuredly I tell you, that if two of you will agree on earth concerning anything that they will ask, it will be done for them by my Father who is in heaven.
In this confidence of compassion, faith, and agreement we pray together for your son's healing and protection:
Almighty God, our loving Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Your Son, Jesus Christ, lifted up by Anonymous. We ask, Father, that You would pour out Your healing power upon his son. Comfort him and help him to sleep peacefully. We ask from you with faith and love and agreement that this son entrusts his body to You for healing according to Romans 12:1 WEB: "Therefore I urge you, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service. For we know from 1 Peter 2:24 WEB that "He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live to righteousness. By his wounds you were healed.
Holy Spirit, we ask now that You will help Anonymous to continue in faith and in confident rest in Jesus. Comfort Anonymous, Lord, and give him/her Your peace, transcending all understanding, keeping Anonymous from anxiety according to Philippians 4:6-7 WEB:
Have no anxiety at all, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.
In all things Father, we ask that Your will be done above all in both of these lives. Holy Spirit we ask that you will guard both Anonymous and his/her son against discouragement and despair. Uphold them in your mercy and protect them from attacks of the evil one who desires to steal, kill, and destroy.
Anonymous, we encourage you to continue to trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding according to Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB: "Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."
Father we ask for your peace and comfort to fill and surround Anonymous in his her own life as well. We ask that Anonymous will find healthy, supportive relationships within the church and from friends and family to help Anonymous during this time. For it is said that our love for one another is how the world knows we are Christians. We desire more of God's love, one for another, Jesus, our Messiah.
It is this same Jesus, our Lord, who invites us in John 10:10 WEB: "The thief only comes to steal, kill, and destroy. I came that they may have life, and may have it abundantly."
Seeing again that it is it is by the stripes of Jesus that we were healed. So we ask for healing for this child, seeing that Jesus died that we may not just exist but that we have an abundant and blessed existence. "I came that they may have life, and may have it abundantly." We ask for this abundance of life in this precious one entrusted to Anonymous for care. It is also written in John 10:27-28 WEB: "My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me. I give eternal life to them. They will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand."
Turning finally to God, our Father, we ask in the name of Jesus, Our Savior, and Messiah, that your will be done in the life of this child, the life of Anonymous as we pray for your will to be done every day of our own lives.
In the holy and only name that we have access to Almighty God, Jesus Christ we pray, in Jesus Name. Amen.
