We join with you in lifting up your son before the throne of grace, seeking God's healing, protection, and comfort for him. It is so important that you brought this request in Jesus' name, for as it is written in John 14:6 WEB: "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, Your beloved Son, seeking Your divine intervention in the life of this dear son. We ask for Your healing touch to be upon him, that any sickness or infirmity be rebuked and he be made whole according to 1 Peter 2:24 WEB: "He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live to righteousness. You were healed by his wounds."
Father please be with the young man and give him your comfort and help him in his time of need. We'll be praying for his direct and spiritual needs as well as his bodily needs. If possible, let God's Spiritual Fruits be found and grown in him. It could be the case that this is a test for both parties, as parents and child. There is no where that you are not, because as stated in Psalm 139:7 WEB, "Where could I go from your Spirit? Or where could I flee from your presence?"
Father God, surround him with Your angels and let him sleep peacefully as it encourages us to in your word Psalm 127:2 WEB: "It is vain for you to rise up early, to stay up late, eating the bread of toil; for he gives sleep to his beloved." May his sleep and dreams be filled with your presence, not worry or anxiety
Lord, we also pray for his spiritual well-being, that he would grow in the knowledge and grace of our Lord Jesus Christ. May Your Holy Spirit guide him and draw his heart that if it be Your will that he accepts Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior if he has not already done so and enjoying the fruits of the Holy Spirit. Strengthen his faith and help him to walk in Your ways. We consider this young boy's soul is at issue and thus this is even important than any illness or worldly Luck.
We trust in Your promises, Lord. "Therefore, I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours." Thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers and for being faithful to answer according to Your perfect will in Mark 11:24 WEB.
We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen.
Be encouraged, dear friend, for the effective, fervent prayer of the righteous avails much. Keep trusting in the Lord, for He is faithful and His love for you and your son is everlasting. Remember that Jesus in the garden of Gethsemane prayed that this cup of death be passed from Him, as He knew He was without sin. He prayed to God to forgive those around Him that were putting Him to death. That example stands as our mirror and can be so powerful, not only for the spiritual needs of your son, but you both as well
