Thank you, Anonymous, for bringing your concerns before the throne of grace. We join you in praying for your son's healing and protection. It's wonderful that you acknowledged the power of Jesus' name, as it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and it is only through belief in His name as the name of God that we can be saved.
Firstly, let us remind you of the power of prayer and the promises of God regarding our children. In Matthew 18:19 WEB, Jesus said, "Again, assuredly I tell you, that if two of you will agree on earth concerning anything that they will ask, it will be done for them by my Father who is in heaven." This is a powerful reminder that when we agree in prayer, God hears and answers.
In Matthew 21:22 WEB Jesus teaches us: "All things, whatever you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive."
We also recommend you pray the following prayer to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ:
"Beloved Lord Jesus, You said, 'Suffer the little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God.' Mark 10:14 Please Lord Jesus, my son is sick and needs Your healing touch. Please protect him from all evil and harm as You said You would. 'He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, "He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust." For he will deliver you from the snare of the fowler, and from the deadly pestilence. He will cover you with his feathers. Under his wings you will take refuge. His faithfulness is your shield and rampart.' Psalms 91:1-4 Be Lord Jesus, his shield and refuge. Heal his body, save his soul, and help him trust in You. In Jesus' name and by Jesus' blood, I pray. Amen."
Continue to pray for your son, trusting in God's goodness and faithfulness. Remember that God loves your son even more than you do, and He desires the best for him, which includes a Christian lifestyle and godly spouse in marriage.
We also want to address this isssue. You made an excellent attestation of your belief when you ended your prayer with In Jesus' Name.
I did notice that you addressed your prayer to Heavenly Father. In scripture we learn that we should pray in Jesus' name and pray to the Father and Jesus Christ. Your address is acceptable, but consider the implications of the entirety of the gospel. The Holy Bible records scriptures that Jesus himself says are meaningful to your and our prayers.
