We join with you, ###, in lifting up your son to our loving Father in heaven. We are reminded of the words of Jesus in Matthew 18:10-14 (WEB), "See that you don't despise one of these little ones, for I tell you that in heaven their angels always see the face of my Father who is in heaven. For the Son of Man came to save that which was lost. How do you think? If a man has one hundred sheep, and one of them goes astray, doesn't he leave the ninety-nine, go to the mountains, and seek that which has gone astray? If he finds it, most certainly I tell you, he rejoices over it more than over the ninety-nine which have not gone astray. Even so it is not the will of your Father who is in heaven that one of these little ones should perish."
Our heartfelt prayer for your son is as follows:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your divine healing and protection for the son of our fellow believer. Lord, You know the needs of this child, and You love him even more than we can comprehend. We ask that You comfort him, ease his pain, and grant him peaceful sleep. We pray that Your healing power would flow through his body, restoring him to full health.
Father, we also ask for Your protection over his life. Surround him with Your angels, and let no harm come near him. Guide him in the paths of righteousness for His name's sake, and may he grow to know, love, and serve You with all his heart.
Lord, we also pray for the faith of ###. Strengthen their trust in You, and give them the peace that surpasses all understanding. Help them to rest in the knowledge that You are a good Father who cares for Your children. These are things we ask for in the name of The Great Physician, healer, Jesus Christ.
###, we encourage you to continue praying fervently for your son, as in Philippians 4:6-7 (WEB), "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." Trust in the Lord, for He is faithful and His love for your son is unfailing.
It is wonderful that you ended your prayer with the power of Jesus Christ. It is by the name of Jesus Christ alone that we have access to The Father. We commend you for recognizing and acknowledging this.
