We join you in lifting up your son before our merciful Father in heaven, trusting in the power of Jesus' name. We are reminded of the scripture in Matthew 18:20 WEB: "For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in the middle of them."
Thank you for specifying 'in Jesus' name. This is the only way to pray and is the core of Christianity. Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. John 14:6 WEB.
For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus 1 Timothy 2:5 WEB.
Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole. This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner. Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. Acts 4:10-12 WEB
Now Let us pray together in Jesus' Name:
Heavenly Father, we come before you as one in the mighty name of Jesus, seeking your divine healing and protection for our beloved son. We trust in your promise that whoever may call on the name of the Lord, as presented in Joel 2:32, WEB: "It will come to pass that whoever will call on the name of Yahweh shall be saved." We stand on your word, knowing that you are a shield around and the lifter of his head, as Psalm 3:3-4 WEB.
Lord, we ask that you comfort his heart and mind with your peace that surpasses all understanding, as guided in Philippians 4:7 WEB. Grant him a restful night and let him find refuge and strength in Jesus Christ. We rebuke any attack of the enemy on his body or mind, from lack of sleep and illness to faith in something false or other distraction. Thank you Jesus, for your dying on the cross is the protection from evil.
Lord, remind him that you are near, and may your presence give him rest. In Jesus Name"We are confident that you will hear and answer our prayers for his healing, protection, and spiritual growth.
We are also reminded of Matthew 28:20 WEB: "Behold, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." Amen.
Encourage him to actively seek God by reading the Bible, praying to our Heavenly Father, and to have Christian fellowship daily. He must constantly rely on the indwelling Holy Spirit and find success by abiding in Christ.
