Dear Lord, we come before you to lift up this parent's beloved son in prayer. We ask, in Jesus' name, for Your healing touch upon him. As it is written in Psalm 107:20, "He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions." We claim this promise for this child, trusting in Your power to make him whole.
We also pray for Your divine protection over him, Lord. As it says in Psalm 91:11, "For he will command his angels concerning you, to guard you in all your ways." We ask that You surround him with Your angels, keeping him safe from all harm.
Father, we seek comfort for him, just as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, as mentioned in Matthew 23:37. Let Your loving presence envelop him, driving away any fear, anxiety, or discomfort, and granting him peace.
We ask for Your help in helping him sleep, Lord. As Psalm 127:2 says, "It is vain for you to rise up early, to stay up late, eating the bread of toil; for he gives sleep to his loved ones." We trust that You will grant him restful and peaceful sleep.
We are thankful that this prayer is asked in Jesus' name, for as Acts 4:12 tells us, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved." It is in Jesus' name that we have access to Your throne of grace, Lord.
Lastly, we encourage this parent to continue to trust in the Lord, for He cares for them and their son, as shown in 1 Peter 5:7, "...casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you."
In Jesus' name, we pray these things. Amen.
