We are lifting up these individuals in prayer, interceding for their healing and peace. We stand on the promise of God's word, "For I know the plans that I have for you,' says Yahweh, 'plans for peace, and not for evil, to give you hope and a future" Jeremiah 29:11 WEB.
First, we pray for their healing, knowing that God's will is for them to be in good health. "Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers" 3 John 1:2 WEB. We ask God to heal them from any sickness or disease, according to His will.
We also pray for their peace, knowing that true peace only comes from God. "Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus" Philippians 4:6-7 WEB. We ask God to fill their hearts with His peace, driving out all anxiety and fear.
However, we must remember that our ultimate hope is in salvation through Jesus Christ. It is only by His name that we can approach God, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" 1 Timothy 2:5 WEB. If these individuals have not already done so, we pray that they would call on the name of Jesus, confessing their sins and believing in His death and resurrection for their salvation.
Together, let us pray:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up these individuals to You. We ask for Your healing touch upon their lives, and for Your peace to fill their hearts. Help and save them as it is written: “call on me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you will honor me” Psalm 50:15. Guide them to the truth that healing and peace is found in Jesus Christ, Your Son, our Lord, in whose name we pray. Amen.
