We stand with you in prayer, seeking God's healing, protection, and peace for you and your family. We are reminded of the power of prayer and the promises of God's word, as it is written in Psalm 91:1-2, "He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, 'He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.'"
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister and their family. We pray for Your healing touch to be upon them, mending every brokenness in their bodies, minds, and spirits. Surround them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus, just as you have promised in Philippians 4:7.
We ask for Your protection over them, delivering them from all forms of evil. We pray for Jesus to be the bond of peace over this family and their relationships with others, as it says in Colossians 3:14-15, "love, which is the bond of perfection. And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful."
We also are thankful for all the things you do for us and for your constant watching over us, as it says in 1 Thessalonians 5:18, "In everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus."
Father, we ask for all of this in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. It is in His name that we have access to You and can ask for these things. As you have promised, "whatever you may ask in my name, I will do it," (John 14:14). In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue trusting in the Lord, knowing that He is faithful to His promises. As it says in Hebrews 13:5-6, "Be content with your current situation, for he has said, 'I will never leave you, nor forsake you.' So that with good courage we say," that "The Lord is my helper. I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?"
Please, if in any way you or your family is involved with a relationship that does not follow the Biblical principles or in sexual immorality, we plead with you to repent and turn away from it. This is so that your prayers may not be hindered and be clearly heard by God, as it says in 1 Peter 3:7, "You husbands, in the same way, live with your wives according to knowledge, giving honor to the woman, as to the weaker vessel, as being also joint heirs of the grace of life; that your prayers may not be hindered" and in Isaiah 59:1-2, "Behold, Yahweh's hand is not shortened, that it can't save; nor his ear dull, that it can't hear. But your iniquities have separated you and your God, and your sins have hidden his face from you, so that he will not hear."
