We stand with you in prayer, Windwold, lifting up your request for healing and peace to our Heavenly Father. We are reminded of the power of prayer and the promises of God's protection over His children. As it is written in 2 Thessalonians 3:3 WEB, "But the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one".
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up our brother Windwold and their family (the prayer assumes that both the husband and wife are of the Christian faith based on Jesus' teaching in 2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB. Being unequally yoked would also apply to anyone where the Lordship of Jesus is not shared between either the husband and the wife). We pray for Your healing touch upon them, both physically and spiritually. Surround them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7 WEB).
We claim in Jesus name this peace from the blessings related to you and your family in the Old Testament as given in Numbers 6:24-26 WEB 24 The Lord bless you, and keep you. 25 The Lord make his face to shine on you, and be gracious to you. 26 The Lord lift up his face toward you, and give you peace. Notice that this is the blessing for you your wife and children.
Deliver them from all evil and harm, and let Your protection be a strong fortress around them. We thank You, Father, for Your unfailing love and faithfulness. We pray this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Windwold, continue to trust in the Lord and His promises. Remember that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of evil (Ephesians 6:12 WEB). Stand firm in your faith, and let this prayer offered in the name of Jesus Christ be a blessing to you and your family.
As you pray, seek God's will using his instructions given in James 4:7-8 WEB. 7 Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you. 8 Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you.
Finally, if your family member is a believing Christian then offer them the option for calling some elders in their church for additional prayer using James 5:14-15 WEB 14 Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, 15 and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up comforting him.
We stand with you in faith, believing that God hears and answers our prayers according to His will.
You should pray and discuss the particular case with a member of your local church pastoral team or elders.
