Dear Lydia,
We've been thinking about you and your situation. It's tough when we're hurting, both in body and in our relationships. We're here for you, praying with you and for you.
We're joining you in asking for healing, Lydia. We believe that God can touch your back and ease your pain. We're claiming that healing power in Jesus' name. We're also asking for strength, not just for your body, but also for your spirit. We know that God is with you, and He will give you the grace to endure this trial.
Now, about your marriage, we're reminded of Paul's words in Colossians 3:12-14. Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, and singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs to one another. And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.
We're praying that this peace will fill your home again. We're asking Jesus to remind James of His love for you and to guide him to be the husband He's called him to be. We're also praying for you, Lydia, that you would be filled with love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. We believe that as you grow in these fruits of the Spirit, your marriage will also be strengthened.
Lastly, we're praying for your relationship with your mother. We're asking God to heal any hurts, to guide your conversations, and to fill your relationship with love and respect. We believe that as you both grow in love and understanding, your relationship will also be blessed.
Remember, Lydia, God is always with you. He loves you, and He's working in your life. Trust in Him, and call upon His name in your times of need. We're here for you, praying with you, and believing with you that God will turn your situation around for His glory.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
