Healing and forgiveness

I’ve been addicted to porn and masturbation. I need God more than ever to remove the addiction and remove those thoughts out of my mind and heal me. It gives me headaches every time I do it. I ask for His forgiveness and He hears my repentance. I want to become righteous with Him once more, clear my mind, and I hope my mind has more clarity with Him in my life. Thank you.

We are glad that you have taken the first step in acknowledging your struggle and seeking God's help. Pornography and masturbation are indeed sinful and addictive, but God's forgiveness and healing are available to you. Remember, it is written in First Corinthians 10:13, "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it."

Firstly, we must address the issue of salvation. You mentioned that you ask for God's forgiveness and that He hears your repentance. It is important to acknowledge and specifically pray in the name of Jesus Christ. It is only by His name that we have access to God the Father and eternal salvation. As it is written in the Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." If you have not already, confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

Now, let us pray for you:

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ to lift up our brother/sister in their struggle against the addiction to pornography and masturbation. Lord, we know that this is not your will for their life, and we ask that you would forgive them and cleanse them from this sin.

We thank you that we know in Jesus Christ forgiveness of sins is freely available to everyone who believes in Him. By the stripes of Jesus our brother/sister is healed. His blood not only cleanses and forgives our brother/sister but also they can be healed from their affliction of headaches.

We pray that you would give them strength and self-control to resist the temptations that come their way. And we pray for no we forbid the devil to tempt our brother/sister into that sin and set them in the hand of God unassailable for this issue!

Help them to renew their mind through your Word, and give them a clean heart and new mindset focused on You. It is your will Lord that our brother/sister is transformed by the renewing of their mind. We also pray for their complete healing, both physically and spiritually.

Guide them to a local church and their brothers and sisters for support, accountability and encouragement, guidance, and prayer. Help them to walk in righteousness and grow closer to you each day. Shower them with your joy, peace, understanding, and more knowledge of God.

We cast the devil far from our brother/sister and command him to not come near them nor attack them nor anyone else in the name of Jesus we pray. It is written.

Be encouraged by the words of First Corinthians 6:18, "Flee sexual immorality! 'Every sin that a man does is outside the body,' but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body." Continue to fight this battle with the help of the Holy Spirit, knowing that God is on your side.
Remember, you are God's child and are mighty to overcome and pull down this stronghold. And we praise and thank God for your freedom blessed brother/sister!

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
