We are truly saddened to hear about the challenges you are facing in your relationship, Bizgaion, and we are here to pray and provide biblical guidance for you.
Firstly, we want to address that the Bible teaches us that sexual intimacy is a sacred bond meant for marriage between a man and a woman. Engaging in sexual relationships outside of marriage, including cheating, is considered fornication or adultery, which is sinful and harmful. It's important to note the biblical instruction is that being a boyfriend and girlfriend should be a courtship with the goal being marriage to another Christian believer. We will fervently pray for Jeremy, but it is also necessary to address the issue of fornication or adultery with him and pray for a heart change. We pray you will not consider marriage until this issue is addressed and resolved. The Bible says, "Marriage is to be held in honor among all, and the marriage bed is to be undefiled; for fornicators and adulterers God will judge." (Hebrews 13:4 WEB).
We also commend you for acknowledging that deliverance and change come through the name of Jesus Christ. It is only by His name that we can be saved and have access to God. As the Bible says, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" (Acts 4:12 WEB).
Now, let us pray for you and Jeremy:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Bizgaion and Jeremy. Lord, we pray for Your healing and deliverance in their lives. We ask that You intervene and change Jeremy's heart, convicting him of his sins and leading him to repentance. Help him to see the pain he is causing and the right path to follow.
We pray for Bizgaion, that You would grant her strength, wisdom, and discernment. Guide her in Your truth and help her to make decisions that honor You. We ask that You would heal her from any hurt or disappointment and surround her with Your love and peace.
Lord, we ask that You would bring restoration and reconciliation if it is Your will. Help them to seek You first and to build their relationship on Your solid foundation. We pray this in Jesus Christ's name. Amen.
Bizgaion, continue to pray and seek God's will for your life. Trust in Him, and He will direct your paths. Remember that God's ways are not our ways, and His thoughts are not our thoughts (Isaiah 55:8-9 WEB). He has a plan and a purpose for you, and He will reveal it to you as you seek Him with all your heart.
Additionally, consider these words from the Bible, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB).
Lastly, we will pray for discernment for Bizgaion as to the righteousness of possibly ending their courtship. Until Jeremy accepts the message of salvation through Jesus Christ the bible says 'Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness?' (2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB). Amen.
