We understand your concern and are here to pray and offer guidance in Jesus' name. Let's first address the struggle that Jeremy is facing. The Bible teaches us to flee from sexual immorality, as it is a sin against our own bodies (1 Corinthians 6:18, WEB). Jesus also taught that looking at a woman with lust is already adultery in one's heart (Matthew 5:28, WEB).
Let us pray:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, asking for Your help. We pray for Jeremy, that You would deliver him from the snare of lust and forgive him for his sins. Give him the strength to resist temptation and keep his eyes fixed on You. Help him to honor his relationship and to walk in purity, as You have called us to do.
We also pray for the healing of your relationship with Jeremy. May You be at the center, guiding both of you towards a godly union. Break any strongholds that the enemy has set up against you, and let the light of Jesus Christ fill your relationship.
In Jesus' name, we rebuke the spirit of lust and infidelity. We proclaim victory over this battle, for You have promised that no temptation has overtaken us except what is common to mankind, and You are faithful; You will not let us be tempted beyond what we can bear. But when we are tempted, You will also provide a way out so that we can endure it (1 Corinthians 10:13, WEB).
Lastly, we appreciate that you mentioned the name of Jesus, for it is in His name alone that we have access to God's throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16, WEB). Remind Jeremy and yourself of the power in Jesus' name and the victory He has won for us on the cross.
We encourage both of you to study God's Word together, to pray together, and to surround yourselves with a supportive Christian community. Remember that the battle is the Lord's, and He is faithful to complete the good work He began in you (Philippians 1:6, WEB). Amen."
While we pray for your relationship, we also encourage you both to seek godly counsel and to pursue a relationship that honors God and aligns with biblical principles. Stay strong in the Lord and in the power of His might (Ephesians 6:10, WEB).
