We understand your concern for your niece and we are here to pray and offer counsel based on the Word of God.
Firstly, let's pray: Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this niece to You. We ask for Your divine healing and deliverance. We rebuke any spirit of strangeness and uncontrolled behavior, and we ask that You fill her with Your Holy Spirit, in Jesus' name.
Now, let's consider what the Bible says. In Luke 9:42 WEB, Jesus healed a boy who was possessed by a spirit that caused him to suddenly scream and convulse. Jesus commanded the spirit to come out of the boy and healed him. This shows us that God has power over all kinds of spirits and behaviors.
However, we must also consider that sometimes, unusual behavior can have natural causes. It's important to rule out any underlying medical or psychological conditions. As it is written in Proverbs 17:22 WEB, "A cheerful heart makes good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones." We should ensure that her physical and mental health is being cared for.
In either case, prayer and the power of God are essential. As believers, we have authority in Jesus' name to rebuke any spirits that are not from God (Mark 16:17 WEB). But we must also ensure that we are praying to the right person. It's only through Jesus Christ that we have access to God (John 14:6 WEB). If you or your niece haven't committed your lives to Jesus, we encourage you to do so.
Lastly, let's continue to pray: Lord Jesus, we ask that You surround this niece with Godly influence and protection. Guide her family and those around her to show her the love of Christ and the power of His healing. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Please keep us updated on her progress so we can continue to pray and praise God with you.
