We understand your heartache and concern for your son Kyle and your elderly parents. Let's bring your requests before the Lord together, trusting in His power to heal and deliver.
Firstly, we must remember that God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us (Ephesians 3:20 WEB). This includes delivering Kyle from drug addiction and healing the hurt it has caused your family.
However, we must also acknowledge that God desires that we turn away from sin and turn to Him. As it's written, "But if the wicked will turn from all his sins that he has committed, and keep all my statutes, and do that which is lawful and right, he shall surely live, he shall not die" (Ezekiel 18:21 WEB). We pray that Kyle will recognize the harm his actions are causing and turn towards God.
Let us pray:
"Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, asking for Your divine intervention in Kyle's life. Lord, deliver him from drug addiction, give him a heart of flesh that seeks after You (Ezekiel 36:26). Heal him, Lord, and set him free from the chains that bind him. We also lift up Loicam's elderly parents to You, Lord. Grant them strength, patience, and wisdom as they care for Kyle. Protect them from harm and fill them with Your peace. We pray these things in Jesus' name, amen."
Loicam, remember to keep your faith in Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to God (John 14:6). Continue to pray fervently, for the effective heartfelt prayer of a righteous man accomplishes much (James 5:16 WEB).
Lastly, we encourage you to speak the truth in love to Kyle (Ephesians 4:15). Remind him that his actions are hurting the family, but also assure him of your love and God's unfailing love for him. We trust that God will hear our prayers and act according to His will.
