We stand with you in prayer, Drolfallock, and we are encouraged that you have invoked the name of Jesus, for it is in His name that we have access to God the Father. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB: "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me", and in John 14:13-14 WEB, "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it".
Firstly, we pray for your healing and deliverance from the power of darkness. We rebuke any influence of the enemy in your life and in the lives of your family members. As it is written in Colossians 1:13-14 WEB, "who delivered us out of the power of darkness, and translated us into the Kingdom of the Son of his love; in whom we have our redemption, the forgiveness of our sins". We claim this promise for you and your family. We believe you have called on God's help and He will answer.
Regarding your children, we lift them up in prayer. For your son Adebanjo, we pray that God will guide him to a godly spouse. We will not call it a wife to marry because she is not a wife yet. However, we understand the sentiment. As it is written in Proverbs 19:14 WEB, "Fathers and mothers may have much joy and many children, but these children can ruin their parents lives. Fathers and mothers may leave an inheritance to their children, but the way they should live is an inheritance from the LORD". We pray that God will prepare Adebanjo and his future spouse for a godly marriage that honors Him. However, God is not a butler at our beck and call. God may try Adebanjo and the woman he has relationship with during courtship. We pray if during courtship Adebanjo and his future spouse fall into sin, it will be revealed and rebuked. This marriage is not guaranteed. It will be Adebanjo's choice and lifestyle that meets or fails God's requirements. Adebanjo may make a mistake that results in a period ofcelibacy or eventual singleness.
For your daughter, we pray that God will guide her out of debt and connect her with godly helpers. As it is written in Romans 8:14 and 17 WEB, "For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are children of God...and if children then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if indeed we suffer with him, that we may also be glorified with him." We are forgiven much if we believe in Jesus, but often through testing, loss and suffering. Godly sacrifice brings blessings. We do not have a promise from God that she will become wealthy or even become debt free. Is she tithing regularly? Remember, God often helps those that help themselves. Perhaps she can get a second job or reduce her expenses while she works this out. God never promised a life without trouble and trials and consider also the verse from Romans 8:17 above, "heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if indeed we suffer with him," Romans 8:17 WEB. Remember, the Apostle Paul was in jail or sometimes under house arrest waiting to go to jail and he confessed being cold and delivering his message with nothing but a cloak to keep him warm. He went through great hardship. Jesus had nowhere to lay his head. These were God's greatest.
In all things, be guided by the word of our Lord Jesus Christ in Matthew 6:31-34 WEB, "Therefore don't be anxious, saying, What will we eat?, What will we drink?,or, With what will we be clothed? For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore don't be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day's trouble is enough for the day."
We pray that God's will be done in the lives of your children and in your family.
